“Being a tea drinker, I quite literally drank my inspiration until the very last drop! What was most interesting about the exercise was the degree of differentiation between all the unique varieties. Taking my time with each tea gave me the opportunity to study the scent profile in each stage—from dry, to the steam in the air from steeping and of course through the taste. Each stage enhances different facets of the tea, whether it be the more animalic or smokey nuances or fruity facets coming to light during the infusion process.”
